League Rules
The Draft
- Each week a snake draft is held for the upcoming tournament.
- The default draft is 6 rounds — each team drafts 6 golfers.
- In odd rounds (1, 3, 5) picks go in order; in even rounds (2, 4, 6) the order reverses.
- Draft order is set by the commissioner before the draft begins.
- If it's your turn and you have golfers in your queue, auto-draft will pick the top available queued golfer for you.
Golfer Pricing
- Each golfer has a price based on their Official World Golf Ranking average points, rounded up to the nearest whole number.
- Golfers with no ranking data are priced at $1.
- The commissioner may adjust prices before the draft starts.
- The sum of all drafted golfers' prices across all teams forms the weekly pot.
Scoring
- Scoring is based on actual strokes over 4 rounds (lowest score wins).
- Of your 6 golfers, only the best 4 scores count toward your team total each week.
- If a golfer misses the cut, withdraws, or is disqualified, they are assigned the highest (worst) score of any golfer that day for each remaining round after the cut.
- The cut happens after round 2 by default.
Mulligans
- One lucky team will receive a mulligan each week, selected by a random drawing by the commissioner.
- A mulligan lets you drop a golfer who missed the cut (or withdrew/was DQ'd) and pick up a golfer on the cut line.
- The picked-up golfer's post-cut round scores replace the dropped golfer's penalty scores.
- The mulligan window opens after the cut is finalized and closes once cut-line golfers tee off in round 3.
- If you don't use your mulligan, it carries over to the next week's draft.
Post-Draft Swaps
- The commissioner can swap a golfer on your roster after the draft if needed (e.g. a late withdrawal).
- The swap fee equals the replacement golfer's price and is added to the weekly pot.
- The commissioner may waive the swap fee at their discretion.
Payouts
- The weekly pot = total cost of all drafted golfers + any swap fees.
- 50% of the weekly pot goes to the weekly winner (lowest team score).
- The other 50% rolls into the season pot.
- If multiple teams tie for the weekly win, the weekly prize is split evenly among them.
- At the end of the season, the season winner (lowest cumulative score across all weeks) takes the entire season pot.
